Start Editing
If you want to start editing video but you don’t want to pay lots of money for software, you can consider trying a free editing software app.
Note : Keep in mind that the free ones are not the easiest ones sometimes !
But i will now give you some examples of free software.
And by free software, i mean really free !
So, no trial, demo’s or watermarks in your exported video.
Davinci Resolve
Davinci Resolve whas in the past ( and maybe still ) the best color grading software. They still have that build in their free version. This editing software is very complete and good to learn.
The cutting and pasting is very easy to do, good looking workspace and masking.
Masking is done if you want to blur something in your video, like a license plate from a car.
I recommend Davinci Resolve for beginners but also for more advanced editors.

Hitfilm Express
I think the best Free Editor is FX Home. All the features of the paid pro apps are here for free.
Masking, Color Grading, Motion Tracking etc.
Watch the Tutorials to learn everything about Hitfilm.

During installation there are many languages you can choose from.
Openshot video editor has many build in effects and transitions.
Also available are lots of templates, just click one and Open Shot does the rest for you.

Kdenlive Video Editor
This free editor works simple, but it does require some organizationto get started. This editor is a Beta version, this means that you get the latest version but you also will run into some bugs now and then.
Did does not only happens to Kdenlive, others have that to.
Through the MLT framework, Kdenlive integrates many plugin effects for video and sound processing or creation. Furthermore Kdenlive brings a powerful titling tool, a DVD authoring (menus) solution, and can then be used as a complete studio for video creation. Download Kdenlive here.
VSDC Video Editor

Wich Free editor you choose is up to yourself, but my favorite are Davinci Resolve and Hitfilm Express .
